While we sheltered in our homes during the pandemic, scammers saw it as the perfect opportunity. During the pandemic, online fraud increased by almost 70%, with scammers taking advantage of people's fear, isolation and loneliness. Among people reporting online fraud, 80% lost money, up from 25% pre-pandemic. 

How do we protect ourselves from fraud in a world that is increasingly moving online?
