The Rotary Club of Ala Moana was delighted in installing a Rotary Peace Pole at its adopted school, King William C. Lunalilo Elementary School on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. The Peace Pole Dedication Ceremony was held in the school's Peace Garden with members from our club, Hawaii Rotary, State of Hawaii Department of Education, community leaders, the media, and students/faculty of the school in attendance.
The school's principal selected students to state the phrase, “May Peace Prevail on Earth,” in different languages represented on the peace pole. The languages included English, Japanese, Chinese, and ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi.
