With Thanksgiving just a couple days away the Club will help Aloha Harvest to pack 350 bags of food that will be distributed to people at homeless shelters, churches and other organizations in need of food for their clients.
Aloha Harvest "rescues" food from area restaurants, then repacks and distributes food that would have otherwise gone to waste. In both October 2020 and April 2021, Aloha Harvest donated food for the Ala Moana Rotary Club to distribute to the families at Lunalilo Elementary School.
We need 15 people for this packing event. Let Lani know you'll join us and get directions to the warehouse.
